Education is
a core mission of Crazy Horse Memorial.
The private,
nonprofit endeavor to honor the history and living heritage of North American
Indians plans to build the Indian University of North American and a medical
training facility.
Since 1996,
the Memorial has offered state endorsed, college-level classes under the
auspices of Black
Hills State University.
